ranking of period panties (copy link to browser):
Do you use pads or tampons together with period underwear?
Menstrual panties are designed to provide protection during your period on their own. There is no need to wear an additional pad, but if you feel you would be more comfortable with a pad, you can use one just as you would with regular panties. You can also wear the panties for extra protection during your period when using a tampon.
Are period panties expensive?
Menstrual underwear is highly effective and durable, making it a very economical purchase. One pair can last 3–4 years without losing absorbency. If you follow the manufacturer’s washing and drying instructions, this period can be as long as 6 years (keep in mind that the underwear can last even longer, but absorbency may decrease slightly—this change will not be noticeable to you). The cost of buying pads or tampons over a similar period is 3 to 6 times higher (depending on the brand), compared to buying 2–3 pairs of underwear. Plus, menstrual underwear is incomparably more comfortable to use because it needs to be changed less often—12 hours for underwear vs. 3–4 hours for pads or tampons.
Do your period panties leak?
No, menstrual panties do not leak as long as they are properly used and cared for. However, you should observe your body and adjust how long you wear them according to your flow.
Do you feel wet in your period panties?
If menstrual panties are washed properly, they do not lose absorbency and should continue to wick moisture into the absorbent layer.
Does your period panties emit an unpleasant odor?
No, an unpleasant odour can sometimes appear when you have an intimate infection.
How often should you change menstrual panties?
You should change your pad or tampon every 3-4 hours depending on your flow. Menstrual underwear only needs to be changed twice a day.
How many pairs of menstrual underwear should I buy?
We recommend buying 2 pairs of panties. You wear one pair while the other is already washed and waiting clean for a change, but if you want to be sure that on those days there will always be a freshly washed, clean pair waiting for you, you can stock up on even more pairs. Masmi Reuse period underwear doesn’t “rustle” when worn, because the absorbent layer contains no film (polyurethane, polyester, etc.) – 100% discretion and peace of mind for you in every situation. The optimal number is 3 pairs.

If you follow the manufacturer's washing and drying recommendations, Masmi menstrual underwear will retain its properties for up to 400 washes!
Reusable hygiene products ensure safety, high absorbency, complete freedom of movement, great comfort and are at the same time very economical.
