Masmi eco tampons are made entirely (including the string) from the healthiest certified organic cotton, grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides or chemical fertilizers and not bleached with chlorine. They contain no perfumes, superabsorbents in the form of powders, viscose, cellulose, plastic, chlorine or dioxins. They are hypoallergenic and help reduce the risk of irritation, itching and allergies. The absorbent cotton core of the tampon is wrapped in a special layer of organic cotton with patented Cotton Lock™ technology, which prevents cotton fibres from remaining in the vagina when removing the tampon, one of the causes of TSS.
