• Are period panties worth buying?

Among women who have switched from pads, tampons or cups to period underwear, reviews are very positive. Most say that Silver Care underwear passes the test even on the first days of the period with a heavy flow. You need to remember to change a pad or tampon every 3–4 hours, depending on how heavy your period is. Period underwear only needs to be changed twice a day. We recommend buying 2 pairs of briefs: you wear one while the other, clean pair is waiting for you. If you want to be sure that you always have a washed, fresh pair ready on those days, you can get an extra one. The optimal number is 3 pairs.

• Do you use pads or tampons together with period underwear?

Menstrual panties are designed to provide protection on their own during your period. There is no need to wear an additional pad, but if you feel more comfortable with one, you can use it just like with regular underwear. You can also wear the panties for extra protection while using a tampon or menstrual cup.

• Are period panties expensive?

Menstrual panties are very efficient and durable, so buying them is definitely economical. One pair can last 3–4 years without any loss of absorbency. If you follow the manufacturer’s washing and drying instructions, this period can be as long as 6 years (remember that the panties can be used even longer, but their absorbency will gradually decrease – this process will not be noticeable to you). How to wash and care for products?

1. Panties should be washed before first use.
2. After use, we recommend rinsing and/or allowing to soak before washing.
3. Can be hand or machine washed with the rest of your laundry or in a separate laundry bag (if you prefer).
4. If using a washing machine, wash at a temperature no higher than 40º.
5. For proper care, we recommend using neutral soaps. Avoid using chlorine, bleach, fabric softeners, natural oils, or Marseille soap, as they may affect absorption.
6. Do not use a dryer to dry your laundry as this may reduce their absorbency.
