• Are period panties worth buying?

Among women who have switched from pads, tampons or cups to menstrual underwear, reviews are very positive. Most admit that Masmi underwear passes the test even on the first days of a heavy period. You need to remember to change a pad or tampon every 3–4 hours depending on how heavy your period is – Menstrual underwear only needs to be changed twice a day. We recommend buying 2 pairs of underwear – you wear one pair while the other is already washed and waiting for a change, but if you want to be sure that on those days there is always a freshly washed, clean pair ready for you, you can stock up on even more. The optimal number is 3 pairs.

• Do you use pads or tampons together with period underwear?

Period underwear is designed to provide protection on its own during menstruation. There is no need to wear an additional pad, but if you feel more comfortable with a pad, you can use one just as you would with regular underwear. You can also wear the panties for extra protection during your period when using a tampon or menstrual cup.

• Are period panties expensive?

Period underwear is very efficient and durable, so buying it is definitely economical. One pair can last us 3–4 years without any loss of absorbency. How to wash and care for products?

1. Wash before first use.
2. After use, we recommend rinsing and/or allowing to soak before washing.
3. Can be hand or machine washed with the rest of your laundry or in a separate laundry bag (if you prefer).
4. If using a washing machine, wash at a temperature no higher than 40º.
5. For proper care, we recommend using neutral soaps. Avoid using chlorine, bleach, fabric softeners, natural oils, or Marseille soap, as they may affect absorption.
6. Do not use a dryer to dry your laundry as this may reduce their absorbency.
