Is it worth buying period underwear?

Among women who have switched pads, tampons or cups to period underwear, the feedback is very positive. Most admit that Masmi underwear performs well even during the heavy first days of their period. You need to change a pad or tampon every 3-4 hours depending on flow intensity – period underwear only needs to be changed twice a day. We recommend buying 2 pairs – one for wearing, the other clean and waiting for a change. If you want extra assurance that a clean pair will always be ready, you can get another one. Optimal quantity is 3 pieces.

Should you wear a pad or tampon together with period underwear?

Period underwear is designed to provide protection on its own during menstruation. There is no need to wear an additional pad, but if you feel more comfortable with one, you can use it just as you would with regular underwear. You can also wear underwear for extra protection while using a tampon or menstrual cup.

Are period underwear expensive?

How to wash and care for the products?

Wash the underwear before first use.
After use we recommend rinsing and/or leaving to soak before washing.
You can wash by hand or in the machine with other laundry or in a separate laundry bag (if you prefer).
If using a washing machine, wash at no higher than 40º.
For proper care we recommend using neutral soaps. Do not use chlorine, bleaches, fabric softeners, natural oils or Marseille soap, as they can affect absorbency quality.
Do not use a tumble dryer as it may reduce their absorbency.
